We received this 2023 award for the painting of this substantial 2-storey home in St Kilda East, a suburb very close to Caulfield and Caulfield North. It was in very poor condition with considerable bubbling and peeling, so we had to strip paint and apply an oil-based undercoat prior to painting. We received this 2022 painting award for the painting of this beautiful heritage home in McKinnon. We have included before and after photos. The quality preparation and painting, together with the modern colour scheme, transformed this home from heavy and dark to light and airy. The above photos are of the Malvern Heart Centre. We painted both the interior and exterior following the renovation of this iconic building in Malvern East. Some stunning interior photos of a 2-storey heritage house we painted in Bentleigh over the years. Our clients eventually sold their lovely home and it was presented beautifully. Significant preparation was required and we sprayed the detailed cornices and ceiling roses to provide a quality finish.

I hired a lead hygienist because of the complex nature of the job and for lead paint removal advice. The team was happy to follow his recommendations. Peel Away was used to remove the lead paint initially, followed by removing the remainder with a HEPA-filter vacuum. All windows were protected to prevent dust from entering the home.

As the windows were in poor condition, Geoff the builder had to essentially reconstruct them, with the result looking like new. Geoff and Simon are true artists. A lot of thought and planning went into the process and I am so happy with the results, as I didn’t think the job was possible.
