We received a 2023 painting award for this fabulous home we painted in Northcote, very close to Preston. The rear of the house is a modern extension and the front is the original heritage home. Apart from the usual preparation of sanding, filling and gapping, we also washed and sanded a lot of oiled timber and brought it back to life using Sikkens Cetol HLS. We received the above award for the painting of this fabulous 2-storey home in Kew. Substantial preparation was required, as well as scaffolding for the 2nd-storey and organising for the power company to cover the power line. For more information on this, please click here to see our project page.

Before and after photos of a heritage home we painted in Preston. Our client wanted to update the dull colour scheme to something brighter. Being a timber home, a lot of preparation was required, including electric sanding and filling. Our client absolutely loves the newly updated home and the colour scheme has really lifted her spirits.

Photos of a house we painted in Preston. It is an original weatherboard home with a modern extension. The original part of the house was in poor condition and we had to strip paint in some areas, as well as complete the usual preparation of electric sanding, filling and gapping.

This is a beautiful heritage home in Brunswick that we painted. It required significant preparation because some of the timber was in poor condition. We also organised a carpenter to replace some timber and repaired other areas ourselves.

Photos of a lovely Victorian home we painted in Hawthorn following a major renovation. As expected, we completed a lot of preparation both inside and outside. For the exterior, we used Classic Cream and Manor Red. Inside, we used Antique White USA for the walls and woodwork.

The final photo is of Brunswick South West Primary School. This is a large building that was in poor condition prior to painting. We undertook significant preparation, particularly on the windows, many of which we stripped.

Preston is a large Melbourne suburb located 9kms north of the CBD. It is part of the City of Darebin and has a population of over 28,000 people.

Preston was originally called Irishtown. Church members from England wanted to change the name to Brighton, after a town in their former home of Sussex, but that name was already taken. They instead named it after Preston, a small village in Sussex where the church members held annual outings.
