We received this 2023 award for the painting of this substantial 2-storey home in St Kilda East, very close to Middle Park. It was in very poor condition with a lot of bubbling and peeling, so we had to strip a lot of paint and oil undercoat prior to painting. Given the age of the property and condition of the paintwork, we followed our lead painting processes to protect everyone. Our client was thrilled with the outcome. This 2021 award is for the painting of this fabulous heritage 2-storey home in St. Kilda. It was a bit unusual in that the windows and doors were already painted in 2 colours in gloss enamel and our client wanted to repaint in enamel, so we did that. There are over 70 windows. Ordinarily, we would change over to acrylic paint. Before commencing, we organised our carpenter to repair the 2^nd-storey balcony and replace rotten timber as required. We completed extensive preparation, especially with the gloss enamel surfaces, to ensure they would be smooth and glossy and the paint finish durable. We stripped some fascias and window sills and oil-undercoated those and all bare timber prior to painting. Due to the age of the property, we assumed there was lead paint underneath and followed our lead paint procedures when stripping paint. Master Painters Award

This photo is of the Melbourne Athenaeum, which is a beautiful heritage building in the Melbourne CBD. This was a fabulous project to work on, as the transformation was incredible. We had to clean and prepare the building prior to painting and advised on where to apply the second colour to enhance the detailing. Painters Middle Park — The first photo is of a cottage in Port Melbourne with a modern renovation at the rear. The photo shows the black and white detailing we painted, which sets everything off very nicely.

Painter Middle Park — The second photo is of a 2-storey terrace in Albert Park. This is another period home with beautiful ornate features. We used a boom to access the high areas of this property. We have painted many period homes like this throughout Melbourne and in the Middle Park area.

This photo is from a house we painted in Albert Park. It was renovated and the period features were retained at the front of the home, while the rear of the house is modern.

House painters Middle Park — The next photo is of a modern home in Elwood. We painted the full interior of this home. As it is quite new, not a lot of preparation was required compared with the period homes above.

Apartment painter Middle Park — Our final photo is of an art-deco apartment we painted in East St. Kilda. It was part of a larger project that included the exterior of the apartment block and the interiors of 3 of the 4 apartments.

Middle Park is an inner suburb located on the Port Phillip Bay foreshore, 5kms south of the Melbourne CBD. It is a small suburb with a population of approximately 5,000 people and is part of the City of Port Phillip.

It is located on the foreshore between Albert Park and St. Kilda and covers an area of less than one square kilometre.
